How to Understand Your Analytics and Performance

GiftBlazer gives you everything it can to answer that question with confidence. This guide walks you through what GiftBlazer does to help you understand what shoppers are doing on the platform and how to follow that activity all the way to purchase in your own store's analytics.
What GiftBlazer Tracks
- Views - The number of times your products are viewed on GiftBlazer. Given GiftBlazer's infinite scroll design, this number will be very high relative to the other metrics.
- Favorites - The number of times your products are marked as a favorite by shoppers on GiftBlazer.
- Clicks - The number of times your products are clicked on in GiftBlazer. When a shopper clicks on one of your products, they are taken to your online store to complete purchase.

This allows you to know how you're doing overall as well as drill down to see which products are performing best.
What You Should See in Your Analytics
Whenever a shopper clicks on one of your product listings on GiftBlazer, special tracking parameters are added to the URL (learn more about UTM Parameters). This allows you to see how many visitors are coming from GiftBlazer in your website analytics tool (like Google Analytics).
- UTM Source: giftblazer
- UTM Medium: referral
- UTM Campaign: giftblazer_referral

Google Analytics
In Google Analytics 4 (GA4), you can find traffic from GiftBlazer by going to Acquisition > Traffic acquisition and then adding a Traffic source filter for Session source/medium. You'll want to look forgiftblazer / referral to see how much traffic you're getting from GiftBlazer.

Shopify
Shopify has a built-in analytics dashboard that you can use to see not just how much traffic you're getting from GiftBlazer, but also how many of those visitors are converting into customers. The Total Sales by Referrer Report is the place to find that information. Look for giftblazer.

Square
Square has a built-in analytics dashboard as well. Use it to determine how much traffic you're getting from GiftBlazer as well as your conversion rate. The report you're looking for is Traffic & Sources. Look for giftblazer.
